Sholay is a classic indian movie. It is a Bollywood comedy movie is about two criminal Veeru and Jai, was directed by Ramesh Sippy. In this movie the two criminal were hired by a retired police officer to catch the cruel dacoit Gabbar Singh. The film 3idiots drew inspiration from the real life story of an engineer-cum-scientist called Sonam Wangchuk. 3idiots follows 3friends through their time in engineering school into adulthood. An alien lands at a remote place who visits the earth to understood about its intelligent, but the very first lesson is a painful one when the remote control of his spaceship is stolen. He asks questions that no one has asked before. His innocent nature and child like questions force the country to evaluate the impact of religion on its people. Dangal is a sports drama film released on 2016 by Nitesh Tiwari. Dangal is a biography of a real life patriotic fighters. Mahavir Singh Phogat(Amir khan), a former wrestler, decides to fulfill his dream of winning a gold medal for his country. He only dreams that his son should win Gold medal for india in wrestling. But back to back he has four daughters. This is a bollywood drama film released in 1971, directed by Hrisikesh Mukherjee.In this story Amitabh Bachchan as Dr. Bhaskar Banerjee was a doctor. He struggles with his patients suffering darkness and poverty, he confronts daily in his native india. Rajesh Khanna as Anand Saigal was a cancer patient treats by Banerjee. Who upon learning of his impending death determines to use the time he has left to the absolute fullest. After that he wrote a story about his experience with the patient leaves a profound impression on him. His heartrending bestseller based on recorded interview with Anand. Mother india is a indian epic drama film released in 1957 by Mehboob Khan. This movie based on a poverty-stricken village woman. In this movie Radha(Nargis)as the mother married to Shamu(Raaj kumar). Radha who is in absence of her husband, struggles to make her sons to raise and cunning money lenders amidst many troubles. Marriage of Radha and Shamu is at hand, but the loan they take out to pay for the ceremony ends up leading to their ruin. Unable to pay the money, the couple is forced to give up three quarter of their crop to the money lender. He is shamed by his helpless. After that he thought that he is no use to his family he leaves and dose not return. Radha surviving with his two children Birju and Ramu. Dilwale dulhaniya le jayenge is a hindi romantic movie by Aditya Chopra released on 1995. This is a love story based movie about Shah Rukh Khan as Raj and Kajol as Simran. DDLJ set the standards of romance and romantic film so high. Two young nonresident indians meet during a train tour across Europe. Both they fall in love. But Simran’s father already promised to another. After that Raj follows her to India to win her and convincing his father. After many struggle he won the heart of his father and also Simran. DDLJ was the highest grossing indian film of 1995. It won 10 filmfare award and the national film award for best popular film.
8. Hum Aapke Hain Koun
This is also known by the initialism HAHK. This movie released in 1994 directed by Sooraj Barjatya and produced by Rajshri production. This is a romantic drama film,lead characters are pressed by Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan. In this film Prem and Nisha both meets of their elder siblings wedding. After that they both fall in love. But their plans to be together are put in jeopardy when Nisha’s sister dies , leaving behind a baby. After that they both sacrificing ones love for one’s family. This is a romantic action film released by Anil Sharma in 2001. This movie based on partition of india in 1947. The film tells the story of a truck driver Tara Singh(Sunny Deol) who falls in love with a Muslim girl Sakina(Amisha Patel). After that they get married and became a parents of a baby boy and they live a happy life. Their happiness became short when india Pakistan became separate. So that Sakina’s father force him to stay in Pakistan and separates her from her family. It has been one of the must watch bollywood films on the partition of india. It is a action drama film directed by Aditya Dhar in 2019. The movie is all about surgical strike carried out by indian army on pakistani terrorist. Major Vihaan Singh(Vicky kaushal) is a army man who aces in strategic operations. When his mother’s Alzheimer’s starts progressing rapidly he requested for a transfer to an army base in the capital. But unfortunately his brother in law gets killed in the Uri attack. After this incident Vihaan join the surgical strike operation and go all guns blazing to avenge the loss of his slained fellow officer in the Uri attacks.
